Okay I just had the vibration TSB done on my 13 DoubleCab O/R... Before bringing my truck in vibrations were minimal and only at low speeds below 35. I brought it in because I wanted the new leaf packs. After picking my truck up today it vibrates all the way to 75 and is significantly worse. I now regret bringing it in... What should I do?

Hmm, sounds an awful lot like the TSB from a couple years ago. Get yourself an OME lift. Got rid of my vibes.

Maybe one of your U joints is bad. Taco's have had a problem with U -Joints going bad.

Springs do not cause vibration normally.

    Just sayin.

After I had it done vibrations were worse too. Dealer had an angle finder sent form Toyota and ordered leaf springs based on those measurements. Much better, not 100% but I will live with it.

    yeah...something is really bad

the vibes for the tsb are under acceleration when axle twist (axle wrap) occurs and causes a second order vibe. you sound like you have a first order vibe...in fact that is what it must be if it happens at all speeds.

have the TSB undone, vibes might be from the front end

whatever the case, I think they screwed it up royally. maybe they bolted the prop shaft 90 degrees off ? (it needs to be dropped to do the tsb correctly and diagnose where the vibe originates, front or back)

what part numbers are on the leafs they installed ? the sticker should be readable

The stickers are no longer on my leaf springs... I took them off as soon as I picked the truck up because my name was on them. I will find out and post back on here.

I was told to bring the truck in and take the service manager for a ride and prove to them that there is an actual vibration issue.

My dealer just called saying the parts for my TSB we're in... I'd like to hear some more from people who had worse vibes after the TSB. It's making me think twice because I can live with the vibes i'm getting now (15-20mph under acceleration). I only have the two leaf pack currently (13' OR)

Ok you want to know a place ?

Make the call and schedule a trip to Acton Toyota, Littleton

be SURE to ask for Mark Bentley, he is the shop foreman and he supervised the TSB for my 13 turd OR...mine is now 100% perfect zero vibes

say you want to go through the steps to determine and fix the vibe

I'm going through Toyota of Greenfield where I bought the truck. So far they haven't given me any hassle, going to have to cross my fingers I guess.

Don't second guess it, i almost did but decided to go through with the TSB. The dealer installed my parts this past Friday and the truck is a dream to drive now, smooth and vibration free. The new springs make the truck feel so much better in every regard.
