    Yeah, the more I think about it the less it makes since.. I'd have to sell mine for 9 grand, and take a loan out for about 20 grand to get a used two door rubicon. But with 11 grand I could make my truck out preform that jeep...

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    i bought the pieces online, picked up the seals from the local dealer, and had a machine shop press them in. there are 2 vendors on here that sell the assemblies ready to swap. you'd come off somewhat cheaper getting them yourself and doing the legwork, of course. the replacement itself is pretty easy and painless.

    What were your failed bearing symptoms? I just looked up what a needle bearing is because of your other post and I think that might more be my problem. It's a loud groan on the drivers side and I just assumed it was my wheel bearing

    if you get the groan that gets louder and goes away w/ a sharp turn, that's the wheel bearing. the needle bearing is cyclical w/ wheel turn, but goes away when you pop in 4hi.

    I've got a noise around 20mph that goes away in 4hi but I've also got a noise around 30 that become progressively louder the fast I go and goes away when I turn
