That white disc under the abdomen appears to be an egg sac. I'd recommend torching it like like 45acp suggests to avoid having 5,000 little versions running around soon.

I love spiders. 99.99% of them couldn't care less about humans.

They keep the bugs away. And I hate the nuisance of bugs.

Jesus.... they're like 1/8" man. Those are variants of Orb-Weaver spiders. We actually get some pretty cool looking variants of them around here. Bright orange w/cool patterns. Harmless unless you're some kind of a pussy & your vagina has a reaction.

 

This one appears to be a Colorado Brown Wolf spider carrying an egg sack. This will get very big & are often mistaken for tarantulas.

Spiders are responsible for disposal of the most annoying bugs/insects. I just put them outside.

 

I could see how that might be taken negatively w/the words I used if taken seriously. I was being facetious when I was saying it. What I should've said was that in Colorado we're lucky in that all you really need to worry about is black widows unless you live in the SE corner of the state then on rare occasions you may come across a brown recluse. One thing to keep in mind is that the 'good' spiders keep down the population of other insects & spiders. This means that spiders such as the ones pictured here not only aren't harmful to you or your kids but can actually help to keep you safe. One spider pictured doesn't even posses the ability to bite a human & the other won't. I should've clarified what I meant but I generally don't bother since most people who kill every spider they see won't care anyway.

I leave them in because I hate Mosquitos and flies more than I could ever hate spiders. Plus we are WAY bigger and more dangerous to spiders than they are to us.
