    Well doo doo, that sucks.

There's no way the frames bent, I'll go ahead and tell you that.

I'm a little unclear without seeing better pictures as to exactly what your describing... As far as your tailgate and grill. The grill may have a broken clip or even one just popped out.
And don't just open and slam your tailgate like the dude said ^, if it's out of allignment that won't do anything except make matters worse.
And it could have just knocked some things out of alignment.

On top of what's been mentioned about the dent on your cab.. Theres a specific tool used in auto body, it welds little studs onto sheet metal, then you attach and slide hammer to the studs and ''jerk it" to pull the dent out.. Altho a good tech will go behind the area worked after to do corrosion protection, also with a hammer in dolly to work it (if possible, in this case yes). That dents no big deal.

Yeah I am sure the neighbors homeowners insurance will cover all of it. They will be coming out tomorrow. Does anyone have anything I need to make sure I tell them to do or just let Toyota do their thing and fix all the scratches/dents etc. Yeah thank god no trees or they would have taken out my truck and the fiances 4runner.

Tell them you're going to be seeking medical attention.. You've been traumatized by damage to your new truck.

Yeah I guess it all looks like a huge deal to me being its brand damn new. It better look the same when they are done too. Will they just buff out the scratches. Some are very lite some are deep. New windshield will have to be put in too and not sure what it messed up as far as the firewall goes as the pole went a few inches through the plastic.

That would probably be the infamous Taco Lean that you're just noticing and given the accident, general paranoia will think it's to blame.

    That sucks man.

The only thing that a trampoline is good for IMO is breaking bones and now Tacoma's. Can't tell you the number of rescues I've made on broken bones because of a trampoline but I've yet to make a rescue on a broken Tacoma jumping on a trampoline.

You keep saying Toyota is going to fix it. You may want to rethink that as Most Toyota Dealers do not have a body shop in house, they contract that work out to real body shops.

If it was mine I would go to the BEST Body Shop I could find, it is within your rights to choose who does the repairs, not the insurance company. A little leg work on your part to find the best shop in town will help you get the results that you want.

Might try browsing the regional threads, and make a post asking if you don't see anything. Some folks stick to the regionals and might not be seeing your thread here. Good luck, man.

This. I've pulled similar dents with a stud welder and body kit. They would not cut part of a new truck for that. It would still cost probably $800-1000 for a body shop to fix just that dent unfortunately.

Ask the homeowner's insurance adjuster about them providing you a vehicle to drive while yours in the body shop. This may take longer to fix than you think.

Yeah luckily his insurance is covering all the cost. I have quit a few scratches on the hood, roof, tailgate and side of the truck too. Do you think they will just paint the entire truck or each section that is scratched?

Oh yeah they will most definitely have to provide me a rental as I need a way to work each day and body shops aren't the fastest people out their when it comes to getting things done quickly.

Most likely each panel that needs repaired. A good body shop should be able to match the factory paint on your truck with no issue.

On a serious note, should I push for them to repaint the entire truck, so they aren't blending and having the possibility on something not matching perfectly?

It's certainly not going to hurt to try. I would be more inclined to go that route also. But if they don't (or refuse too) a good body shop can blend it to where you will never even notice that it's been painted.

Note: I said "good" so pick the best one you can find. Good luck brother, I know I would be sick if that happened to mine.
