    interesting that social healthcare (at least in Canada) started as an initiative of Nuns, providing healthcare to new settlements.

    My comment related to the concept of guaranteed income, is that the concept could replace Social welfare, Unemployment Insurance, and Education loans, Definitely not meant to replace healthcare. The concept is it puts responsibility and decision making back on the individual = more freedom, and much less govt. infrastructure, potentially increasing the labour force contributing to the country's GDP. Of course, if you choose to make bad choices with your base level income, too effin bad. Darwin will make its selections. Not sure if the proponents of the concept are thinking that forward.

    It looks to be dime sized , maybe smaller than our current nickel which is pretty much exactly the same size as a current US nickel
