Just got back from the mechanic at Toyota. Even they could not get that sucker out of there..... The mechanic suggested JB weld around the corners of the union where it meets the differential. I'm in semi agreement however I understand i have to make sure none of that crap leaks into the differential. SO..... The moral of MY story is.... While this is a DIY mod, in my case "DIY" literally meant i did myself on this one.......I believe the JB weld should do fine and apparently I still get my extended breather that I was hoping for in the first case.

Thanks to everyone for your help

pull the 3rd,the axles and hammer that puppy through.Clean the hole and tap it.Install new breather.Clean all of the metal and reinstall everything. That is the right way to do it.Just knowing you have JB weld holding that thing together is going to drive you crazier than the taco tic......:D

If it went in, it will come out. You need to be more persistent. There is no way in hell I would JB Weld that in esp in a 2013 ( new ) Truck.

Did they charge you at the Toyota Dealer? If yes, you should go get your money back. Any mechanic worth 2 cents should be able to get that sucker out in a few minutes.

Been wanting to lift my truck but I found this one already factory lifted so I went for it. Ironically my payments are lower now than on my previous truck .
