    Besides Batman he was in American Psycho, The Machinist, The Prestige, American Hustle, Reign of Fire... and dozens more. He's definitely famous.

    And Pamela Anderson was in multiple seasons of Baywatch, plus a few movies.

    I think you're confusing famous people as being fascinating and talented. You don't have to be fascinating and/or have any redeeming qualities to acquire fame these days. Fame might as well be a venereal disease. Seems like the best way to get it is by filming yourself during intercourse with a famous person.
