The other day, some of you were talking about Wet Okole seat covers. AutoAnything has them for $245 less 10% and free shipping.
My questions are: Do you have to remove the front seats to install?
Are they easy enough for an ole guy like me to install?
    Are they worth the $220?

    Morning.

Not necessarily remove from the truck, but I did unbolt mine so I could tilt them forward and backward to stretch and strap the covers on.

I did mine by myself. Having an extra set of hands would have been helpful, but not required.

I definitely feel they are worth it. I actually had to repair a small hole in mine (self-inflicted). I repaired it the same way I repair neoprene waders. If the repair hadn't worked, i easily would have spent the money to replace the cover.

    Hope that helps. :)

That does help. Perhaps I could get a buddy to help, but it usually comes down to doing it myself. I was hoping to not have to remove the seats, but it sounds like it's easier to loosen them.
    Thanks.

It is so much easier to remove the seat. Do not forget to disconnect the battery cables, wait 3minutes and disconnect the airbag wiring connector which is the yellow connector under the seat.

Not a problem Glenn. No need for the side airbag to deploy. When I installed my covers I put the seat up on a stand to make it even easier to work on. My stand was 2 saw horses with a piece of plywood on top.

Damn Charlie, that's a lot stuff all at once. How long do they estimate recovery from all that would take?

I guess the best thing to say is enjoy Hawaii! I know better than to tell you to take it easy.;) Hang tough man, know you will.

Will a stretching program help at all. It has relieved the pain in my legs from arthritis in my lower spine.

I did mine with them bolted in :anonymous: I couldn't get them out. Like Rob said, a second pair of hands will help, but doable by yourself.

    Thanks... I think....

Have a wonderful vacation and  the surgery fixes all your problems..

Too bad a stretching program did not help. I have Arthur in my foot and the only relief is a shot every 3 months or so.

    Evening all:

Nice camo job on the seats Jim. I need you to do that on my Jon boat. :D
I see the DeLorme Atlas, we used them all the time when we hunted Maine.
I think every logging road is shown on them; they were gold when running around in the North Maine Woods.

    :woot:Vacations! Enjoy!
