I'm just a thrifty shopper. I go to Ingles and have an Ingles card, plus I only buy Ingles brand stuff (Laura Lynn). I got all this for $70

    30 eggs
    2 boxes of fiber bars
    1 box of oatmeal packets
a loaf of whole wheat bread
    3 packs of sliced turkey
1 pack of sliced pepperjack cheese
    a bag of spinach
    a bag of broccoli
    a bag of carrots
    a bag of baked lays
a 1/2 gallon of whole milk
    bananas
    strawberries
    a bag of pretzels
    hamburger helper
2 lbs of 93/7 ground turkey
a box of frosted mini wheats
    whole wheat bagels
    grape jelly
    cheese sticks
    brown rice

I already had and didn't have to buy:

    mayo
    honey
    frozen chicken breasts
    greek yogurts

But, even including that stuff, it's not gonna be over $90 a week

That also doesn't include my ON whey, which is about $13 a week.

    3260 calories/218 g protein/463 g carbs/70 g fat

EDIT: that's $70 a week, not for an extended period of time, which I still don't think is bad

Never heard of it. What do think your bulking calories were around? I'm sure, since you train more often and longer than me, it was much more than mine

Heard that. We usually try to keep 1-2 deer in the freezer at all times. We always have bass filets and dove, though. Nothing beats free protein!

Nope. It may have something to do with me being in GA :notsure: we've got Kroger, Ingles, Publix, and a few other chains, but that's it. Ingles is the only one close to my house though #ruralarea #fuckthecity lol

Daaang! Deer tags here are like $12 for as many does as you can kill and 2 bucks (IIRC)!

I've never heard of Safeway, either. INGLES FTW!
Ingles does the gas reward thing, too. I've got one like 2 miles from my house...I feel like I'm there about every other day here lately.

Up here in the northern zone, it's 10 does and 2 bucks. Might be different down in the southern zone.

A lot of people around here like Bear meat. I've never had it, personally, becuase I don't feel like draggin the bear out/dealing with the smell of it while I process it. They smell so awful. Like soured milk that's been in the sun a few days. And the only way it's "awesome weather" is if it never gets over 55 or 60. You can keep it if it's over that. I prefer 20-50 degrees. Unfortunately, it usually stays in the 80s-100 with like 90% humidity here in the summer...

We've got Trader Joe's (hipster store), whole food (hipster store), Sam's Club (fucking awesome if you can afford to buy and have the room for bulk stuff), Wal Mart (meth-heads and trailer trash, but cheap as hell), and Ingles, Kroger, and Publix are for us normal folks lol. I prefer Ingles b/c it's close to home and TW member 'meatman' is a butcher at an Ingles and PM's me when they're having sales on stuff in the meat dept.!

Damn! You burn 800 calories in a workout!? I'd imagine I burn about 300-500 in one of my typical 45 min weight-lifting sessions.

I'm in the northern zone, too. It cuts off at Bibb Co, which is about an hour south of Butts. Never had bear either, but I've got a friend that traps them...I'll stick with deer lol

How do you guys estimate how many cals you burn lifting. I can say when I run for 20 min it's about 200-300 so I guess you go off that?
