I need new front door speakers. Just would rather spend the cash elsewhere

I need new speakers, they distort when the volume hits 27.
But I also need tint and really want remote start, plus I already have another project going.

My tint is like 14 years old so it's time to replace that too...

I've replaced all the speakers already as well as the head unit, I'm still deciding whether or not I want a compact under the seat sub or if I want to go crazy with it. I think I'm just going to get a compact one, as all I really need is something to provide a fuller sound.

Is that the infinity basslink? How's it working for you?

    Ceramic it standard?
I'm gonna get 35% ceramic up front, not sure on the rear as it has factory tint (I think, I'll check tomorrow if it's in glass) but I want 35% total in the back, and something light on the back window because when I put on my camper shell it gets really dark at night.

I like my 8" compact under the drivers seat, plenty enough for what I listen to (country, hick hop) I just need to get it adjusted to sound perfect.

This is the route I'll most likely go. I just want complete sound, not looking to shake the world with bass. What sub are you running?

Yes it is. I love it. It doesn't hit all the real super deep bass like a higher powered 12". But it thumps. Perfect for a small cab. And it comes with a bass knob to adjust it on the fly. I got it off Amazon cause that's the cheapest place, and one of the sample pics was actually a taco mounted like I have it haha. It's a long story, but I actually ended up getting a brand new Basslink for $89.99 :D

Mine came with it. Just have a shop do it and warranty their work. Its worth it.

I want to replace the speakers in my truck. The stock system is okay, but it's just that...okay; not great.

I had a Dual (that was the brand) 10" sub with a built in 300w amplifier behind the seat in my t100. Wish I would've kept it when I sold it. Was planning to go to a big system, but ehh. Money can be spent elsewhere.

Ugh, I had to be up at 3:55am for work. Every Monday and Wednesday. Gotta love getting trucks in at a retail store

Ehh, I don't think remote start is worth it, but if you already have it installed, it's nice. My truck has it. My stepdad paid to have it put in for my mom for Christmas one year.

    I CONCUR.

It is FUCKING ORGASMIC. Its like having a giant remote control truck! People look at you like, "that fucking thing just start itself?!"

    Its pretty awesome.

On another note, no more waiting in your vehicle listening to music while it warms up.

AND no more ice scraping when the truck heats up enough to melt that shit off and you can just brush it off real quick or hit it with the wipers. :D

For a year and a half i didn't have it because i didn't have the remote fob and the receiver in the head liner was unplugged.

Emailed my salesman that i didn't have the remote start remote and he sent it to me the next day. They had it stuck in my folder

I found out the receiver was unplugged a few weeks later when i was taking my over head console out to look at my headliner wiring harness. Plugged it in, hit the button and about died i was so excited. :goingcrazy:
