I read that you can still get gainz and stay lean by doing some cardio after you lift.
I try to run for 30 or so minutes making my workout 1:30 -2 hours long usually. Then I go home and feed like it's been months since my last meal. And that works well for me

I agree with you on some points, health is important, i would love to be able to run 10 miles with ease. But i hate doing it, it's like those people who smokes and knowing smoking is bad. I try to do some type of cardio once a week, mostly walking or hiking.

Also i personally hate the sport of bodybuilding the industry is shady as hell, i also don't really care about aesthetics, that's why all i do is squats deadlift and bench, my main goal is to be small as possible while being strong as possible, if someone told me they can give me 100lbs on all three of my lifts to trade for 20lbs of muscle on my body i'd do it in a heart beat.

    Word of advice:

    Don't do 6x5 deads,
    6x10 straight leg deads
6x10 hamstring curls super set with 3 sets of seated calf raises, 3 sets of standing calf raises

THEN decide you want to go fishing and wade about a mile downstream.......which means you're gonna have a wade a mile back UPSTREAM to get back out...The whole wadin downstream thing wasn't a problem. Goin back up sucked balls, though. My legs were exhausted.

    The better coast
Actually cardio may help w/weights. More capillaries in the muscles means more o2 exchanges and a faster recovery/lactic acid removal.

Ive managed to gain weight while lifting and running. It requires retarded amounts of food but its possible.
Last night I had 3 cinnomon rolls, ran 5.3 miles, came home and ate 3 eggs, 4 slices of bacon, 2 slices of bread, and a glass of milk :hungry:

Well, starting eating at 11am is definitely no longer gonna be an option. Last night, in order to get all my food in, I had to get up at 11pm to eat a greek yogurt, cheese stick, and cup of rice! Started at 9am this morning, so hopefully I'll be done by around 9 today. Also, the brown rice has got to fucking go...nasty shit

I see gains of 45 mins, 4 times a week just fine. The path of least resistance...although, you do currently have ~20 more lbs of muscle than I do

You can gain as much muscle as you desire while doing as much cardio as you desire, so long as your diet is right. Most people who want mass don't do cardio because it requires them to eat more

If this is true then how come flat bench doesn't build your upper chest as well as incline...

lolwut. a small Eric wouldn't be right
But I agree with this, I had a physique period of my life, but now I don't think I've picked up a dumbell or used a cable machine in over a year. Squats, deads, bench, clean, jerk, snatch, and run.

True. Sounds like some broscience to me... Also I know a guy at my gym who obsesses over decline press because he can bench more on it... The dude literally looks like he has boobs because of the imbalance of upper pec to lower

Agreed. On my last bulk, I focused especially on my lower pecs by doing more decline work b/c Aaron made fun of how I had nonexistent lower pecs...Now, I have lower pecs....I call bullshit, as well...and the poster of that message is a "certified" personal trainer...go get a Bachelor's or higher degree and I'll listen to you....online/weekend training doesn't do shit. Hell, I've got a co-worker here at the gym that personal trains and she got "Certified" in like a month lol...and she's still a fucking retard
