    That must be an auto thing because mine is a manny and it's right by the steering wheel.

    I've never understood why people would own an Avalanche. If you don't mind me asking, what was so appealing about it?

    that's a good question. to be honest i liked the looks of the newer generation and when i finally killed my last 4runner i decided to get one. one of the biggest mistakes of my life. i will never own another. chevy put together a real piece of crap when they made the Av IMO. it was a money pit from the get go. i'm so relieved to be away from that mess.
