I quit smoking 7 years ago, then started again a few months ago, quit again and started again. It's an every day battle, I can only imagine being hooked on hard drugs, luckily I dodged that bullet, though I tried:eek:

    Nice!

Complete OME kit w/ 881's and dakars. All-Pro Sliders, CB, HAM Radio and various other minor stuff.
Ordered a Marlin Crawler Shifter Seat. I don't have alot of slop but we'll see if it smooths out the shifting.

It made a minimal difference in mine. And it's probably because I was mentally willing it to, otherwise non-noticeable

Made a huge difference in mine but I like to pretend I'm a pro. Wish I had taken pictures of the old seat, quite worn down.

It made a huge difference in my 92. I have the seat and bushing sitting around waiting for me to not be lazy and install in my 02. If the rubber seat is anything like the one which was basically disintegrated in my 92, it will make a noticeable difference.

The seat in my 92 was literally in pieces, at least the parts that were still in place. The rest of it is still somewhere in the trans. The bushing wasn't bad, but I replaced it anyways since I had it out. If anything it's piece of mind against the rubber one falling apart and into the trans.

I think it's one of the few parts they actually keep in stock....

My rubber seat was in fine condition as was the socket.

When I would be in 5th gear, and only 5th gear, and on the throttle the shifter would be dancing quite a bit.

I read that changing out both the seat and socket makes a difference.

For me it did not. It still dances.

As for shifting, like I said, I think it made a minimal difference but that may just be in my head.

Just get the URD short shifter kit, zero slop and half the throw.

If you have a worn/disintegrated seat or socket bushing it won't help though since it tee uses the stock ones. It'll shorten the throw, might tighten it up some, but the new delrin seat and socket would really tighten it up...giggitty

Damn I didn't realize how cheap they were. That's a nice upgrade for $110.

That along with a new bushing = race truck

I love my URD, aside from suspension it has done more for the feel of my truck than anything else
