I'm barely 18 with less then a two year old truck...I think I'd rather take care of it then beat it up off road :p

I think the closest I've ever come to offroading, was driving over a tree we had recently cut down in my yard the other day, it bounced the front of the truck up pretty good, also my local mall has some nice speed bumps

Haha I'd rather take care of my truck then beat it up. 4x4 is only used when road conditions are bad

Edit: My old truck, on the other hand, was taken off road more then it was on road haha.

I wish I had 4x4, slowly getting there though. I do use my locker frequently, but not off road haha

4x4 is nice for peace of mind, but you could actually really get away with not having it if you didn't really want to go off road. But if you're already paying close to $30,000 for a truck you might as well pay a grand or so more to get 4x4.

I certainly have no real need, I live in NC, if we do get snow at all its not that bad. I'll eventually convert my truck, I already have the transmission and transfer case.

Yeah. I learned to drive where we got 5+ feet of snow a year, so now that I live in Nebraska, where they MIGHT get 8" all year, I'm not too worried about a little snow

    So I just ordered:

    6 cans of plastidip
    the plastidip easy sprayer nozzle
    a Pyle PA speaker
a Cobra DX IV CB radio
a firestik II 4' black antenna
    the CBI antenna tailgate mount
    18 feet of antenna wire
    antenna coupling (to the mount)

and hopefully tomorrow I get my ImMrYo mirror relocation bracket

I mean, I'd imagine you do alright off road, there'd just be a lot more control with 4wd, no more having to bump the front end up over stuff.
