See that's not going to work with mine without trimming plenty.

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem trimming and even cab mount chop. It just seems like I'm starting with a disadvantage.

Yeah but do you have after market UCA's?
They bring the wheel back alittle so there for you rub a lot more. Like me and my TC UCA's. I rubbed my Cab Mont and pich weld and I have 285/70/17

I even had the alignment shop bring my caster up more so it would bring my tire forward a bit to help...

I have TC UCA's but I first noticed this with stock suspension but with the new wheels and tires. Mud flaps were not going to happen and continued to rub since that day even after lift.

I searched all over the web today and saw people with the same problem on all makes and models lol. A lot of forums with the issue but nobody with a solution.

True, True.. But aftermarket UCA's have greater articulation and plus your able to get the alignment in spec.
with my stock UCA's and my OME 3" lift, I had barely any down travel! I got alot more with my Tc UCA's..
But yeah, I do wish it didn't bring the wheel so far back in the wheel well. I wonder if all aftermarket UCA's do this?

Its crazy how from one truck to another things can change.. If people need the diff bushing or need UCAs... Or even the amount of lift people get from a certain coil.

Why do you refuse to remove the sway bar? I have heard nothing but good things from people that have

Oh shit glad you didn't hit it, although it would have given you an excuse to get a new front bumper :D

For everyone that saw my front passenger side tire as we were airing down, I took it in this morning (first time ive had a chance since we got back) and it looked completely normal. Last night I could tell it was off since the outer wall of the tire was touching the rim of the wheel on one side, and on the other there was a gap, held air though. So not sure what happened

that little jeep was very light and you aren't what I would call built. I could take my taco (when it's done) and make that jeep cry but hey it is what it is in this off road game we play.

    ^^ that's sweet!
Yeah, I wish I could afford a beater rig. but my truck does fine for the off roading that I do.. which is light.:)

In the sway bar note mentioned. I took mine off and love the ride! both on road and off. but Im thinking about putting it back on because I do a lot of highway and back road driving. I also like to drive kinda quick and take corners:D... sooo we will see.

not knocking the jeep just saying how it's built and what you use it for is all that matters. not building your Tacoma and buying something else to go up to the cabin makes cense even if it is a jeep.

You don't need something like a Jeep to do what you want. A stock Samurai can do the job. Put lockers front and back and you'll be golden.

If you want to go father, you could do simple and effective upgrades.

Is there any trails for trucks like the quads have? Or just sand dunes for the trucks?
