    Lol 1%, crossfit that doesn't revolve around weights (aka booty boot camp), working out at a gym that doesn't use barbells yet says he does crossfit...

    Anyone else see these issues?

    If it doesn't involve some type of lift, how is it crossfit? Crossfit was based off metabolic conditioning and Olympic lifts....It's not crossfit, It's a class called boot camp...and I've not seen results from boot camp classes.

    I'm sorry, I'm an old school crossfit fan, before it became a brand name, back when it was a style of lifting/fitness. And even though I am a fan, I don't do metabolic conditioning on a regular basis.

    1500 cals is like 1 meal for me...haha you will lose fat and muscle with only 1500 calories a day. Your body may go into starvation mode and store fat with that little amount of cals and start burning muscle as fuel.


    download myfitnesspal and put in all your info and it will help you out with how much you need to be eating

    I had a great leg day yesterday. Dead lift both regular and Romanian, back squats (heavy-weight, low rep) followed by leg extensions and lying ham curls and seated calves to finish the day.

    I'm so sore but at the same time feel so good

    Did u not read anything i wrote? The gym i train at runs crossfit classes but that not all they do because u can appeal to a greater client base by providing a greater amount of services. and iv been doing barbell workouts since saturday. Wanted to do a more long term endurance workout like i stated. I mean there were deadlifts in that workout just not aton and it was light. i have no issues with a barbell i love to oly lift...my clean and jerk is just under 300 pounds and my snatch is just a bit over 200 and weighing 180 pounds, and funny thing is i can still runs 5k in 19 minutes and not loose any of my gains? Crossfits motto is training for a wide variety of things if u have ever followed mainsite, just look at yesterdays wod, 15 pushups and 100m sprint it doesnt always have to have an oly lift in. Crossfits not a specific workout, its the program in general...why you such a shit talker Kodiak?

    This. I've never hated on the crossfit aspects that involve the olympic lifts.. that stuff is cool. But all the free standing squats and burpees and dick pushups are what turn me off.

    ever throw double unders in before a run or sprint? you don't realize till you do it how much u use your arms to run. cuz you'll get off the jump rope and start to run and well...it doesn't go as planned haha plus they spike your HR pretty good

    Which is another reason it's fun to make fun of crossfit. Crossfitters seem to have quite the thin skin. Maybe they should learn to train that...
