If I remember correctly it wasn't just a Jeep thing that day... I think it had to do with the color of the rig, cause I don't recall any shoveling, pushing, pulling or winching. At least not for anything with red paint

Would anyone be interested in doing a camping trip somewhere up by Baker Lake or Lake Shannon in early september? Not really any trails but a lot of forest service roads that go way back.

curious about the limit straps. are they needed primarily for jumping and high speed running? would I ever need them if I'm just crawling through trails?

For basic wheeling and daily driving, limit straps are not needed. It is when you start to have some massive amounts of travel where you don't want to use shocks or brake lines to keep an axle (CV on the front) from pulling too far away from the frame. Unless you are going to build your suspension to have 12 or more inches of travel, I probably wouldn't worry about limit straps

Mr. FedEx showed up with my ECGS package and brightened my day.... 5.29 big pinion nitro gears, solid pinion spacers, double drilled flange.

:confused: I had 10.5" of travel with just factory UCA's and LCA's only thing that really helped was my DB lift and the SAW C/O's

Ok thanks.. Planning on going to Mt. Rainer and then hit that trail and then go back home on I90. Was wondering if a stock setup will be able to handle it.

It's funny how videos always make trails look way more tame than they really are. That hole to the left was way deep. Wish we took more wheeling pics/vids

I know exactly. My back tire was up in the air for a second, maxed out my suspension. I want to go back up in the fall right before it snows and camp, bet more wildlife would come down

While you guys were still sleeping when I first got up around 530, Fritz tried to chase a couple deer. One was a buck.

Yeah and we were calling it "that sketchy spot." I'm going to have to get some mounts for the truck, so we can take more next time.
