So, we are checking with Kim (Mike's wife) to see what time she would prefer on Sat for the meet up at Rudy's, but would you all prefer a 830 meet up opposed to 10AM at Rudy's then hitting the trail, followed by dinner/raffle/auction?

i know TD is down, but this was my original thought on some trail linking...

if we hit herman early, we could get some of those knocked out onthe way in...

mt herman>rampart>hotel>rule>phantom....if we do that, we'd end up back tracking phantom when the group does it...

so you could do herman>rampart>hotel gulch then 67 down and over to phantom creek

but there's a lot of trails in that area to explore... http://staythetrail.org/maps/viewtrail.php?trail_id=84&sv=0

Earlier the better for me but I know how much it sucks having an early meet time and being far away.

Obviously, we will do whatever Kim wants to do. I can only imagine, though, that Kim likely wouldn't want to be doing this event from 10:30 am - 8:30 pm (I could be wrong, but that would be likely be the event length if we aren't getting to Rudy's until 6:30 as mentioned before). We should try and be at Rudy's no later than 5:00 so that we can eat dinner, do the raffle/auction, get Kim's cash/checks to her, and she can be home no later than 7:00.

If we do the 8:30 meet up, we can try to be to Rudy's by 1:30'ish for a late lunch.

Agreed. But, with the proposed agenda of 6:30 for Rudy's, I think it would suck worse to have a late drive home than it would be to drive down earlier.

    That's just me, though...

Bob - do you want to take point on this one? I have no problem gathering names and numbers to organize, but I'm sure you know your way around that area better than I do. I'm not exactly a seasoned off road veteran with me dozen or so trips.

I only see a couple people that cant make up minds on the meet time and trail info :p:D :poking:

most people are sticking with the original plan and going to rudy's at 10:30am to head out for the phantom creek run, then back to rudy's for the auction / raffle in the either mid afternoon evening time correct?.

here is the flyer just to keep it current, sean just keep me posted here shortly and i can update the information on the flyer. otherwise the flyer wont be able to be updated till the event is already happening, crazy busy day tomorrow at work.

I would prefer an earlier meeting time at Rudy's. You name it and I'll be there. Traffic is always better in the early morning.

Okay we need to figure this out right away because moving around a 30-50 person reservation on a Saturday isn't something we can just do. It's made for 6:30 but I'm sure earlier, before dinner rush, would be okay.
What if we say meet at trailhead for phantom at 9? By the time everyone gets done bullshitting and stuff we can get on trail by 10, stragglers have time to get there. People can still meet at Rudy's if they want. Lunch on trail and back to Rudy's by 4 so we can do the raffle/auction before food and eat around 5:30, go home by 6:30.
Thoughts? I didn't proofread that yet FYI

So TH by 10:30? I still think we could grab a group and shoot down early, Bob. We can just do a 7:30 meet up and we can hit a trail on the way down.

    Thoughts?
