x2 (two years). Love the Alignment options.

While some mechanics don't quite get around the idea thata: the UCA is adjustable and b: I wanted my alignment out of specs but whenthey learned how to adjust the top, alignments got very easy.

The Toyota mech figured itout quick. The Firestone mech is a bit slower on the uptake...

I wanted toincrease wheel clearance. The mech just about maxed out the lower Camber (brought the lowerball joint out but kept some room for adjustments) and just about maxed thelower Caster (brought the lower ball joint forward, again, keeping room foradjustment), then adjusted the top ball joint for ~3* caster and 0* camber.Ultimately this brought the entire tire forward and out. I got lucky and hadJUST enough UCA camber adjustment to keep the lower tab maxed.

After the initialalignment, instead of messing with the lower arm tabs (when you adjust one, youhave to adjust the other - its a PITA) the mech just has to do a minor Casteradjustment on the lower and fix the Camber form the top. Takes ~30 from startto finish. I haven't adjusted lower camber for over a year and he recomended loosening the adjustment bolt every two visits to keep it from seizing.

I also torque the UCA boltto 150 ft/lbs. I called the technical officer at SPC and the tech verified thebolt was good for up to 190-200 ft/lbs but recommended no more than 150-170.

If you mean rock crawling that's true , if you mean fire roads like I see in your wheeling pics , I do that

I have about 55 000 miles on my truck and I didn't say you hadn't seen any failures , I was just stating my experience with them

I haven't posted wheeling pics of my Tacoma in quite some time and they were not fire roads when I did. You must be getting mixed up with my 18 year old Ford Explorer that I drive on the fire roads.

    As am I.

I have never seen Total Chaos redesign, recall, or replace parts for free (except for the change to stainless balls). They are expensive because they do proper R&D.

If you want it done right the first time and you want it to last when beaten TC all the way.

Ive seen OP's POS SPC arms many times and they are nothing but a pile of crap. Every other month it was something new failing, clicking, or falling apart. They used their customers as R&D thus the redesign.

    You are clueless hu?

Mine can be adjusted from 2.5* all the way up to 3.8*.

Jlink just installed his 36's and now has 3.8* and he was previously at 3.0*. I'm at 2.5 or 2.8 I think.

Just because they have no adjustment doesn't mean they can not be adjusted with the truck to work perfectly OK. Most times they are easier to adjust because the retard doing the work doesn't have the option to install the POS adjustment blocks backwards

I disagree. Customer service is good and so far the (1st gen) product is good :notsure:.

I dont see the need for a uniball (and the $$$ associated with it) unless you are running LT.

Scott was not exactly the most gentle person on his truck no ?

So him having premature issues with wear parts doesn't exactly suprise me .

Who do you know that had broken welds on the arms ? Was that Scott too ?
