Hopefully this will be resolved today....my bet is he will come up with a story like there was a death in the family which prevented him from completing the dealio, or something similar...

Why do I say this? I have seen it before, even been involved with a seller on Ebay that had the same excuse...had to go through PayPal to get resolution because it was just a delay tactic so he could clear out his PayPal account before I filed a complaint...

There are some people on this earth that just defy normal...scum of the earth...

I just don't think he wants to take off the other parts. Its really not that hard to take off two bolts. That's all.

I knew that was a scam as soon as I read it.

TW has plenty of scammers. Ive been taken. We have vendors start up entire companies because members here give them deposits for custom stuff and they use the money to create the business. Ive never been on a site where people are so trusting and do such silly things. Like sheep lining up for the slaughter for some of theser group buys. Reminds me of the guy who sold 9 superchargers and got away with 30k+

If I were you OP I would just take it out on his truck or punch him in the face. He owes you money.....take his wheels in the middle of the night and see how he likes that.

Now I only pay via Pay-Pal and thats linked to my credit card (not bank card). If paypal fucks me my credit card will not.

Or file for contractual damages in small claims court. Long process but in the end he will pay damages.

small claims can't ENFORCE if you win, if the accused does not pay up, you have to hire an attorney to go after the scumbags; ie, wage attachment or property attachment....

and, your attorney's fees are paid out of your pocket, unless you refile ANOTHER small claims.....

it is a slippery slope for sure....

I know 2 guys out in your area, if you give me the scammer's number you'll be all set.

... Once he's been 'talked to' by these guys, Top Guns will have your parts shipped overnight to you, along with a heart-felt apology and some cash for your troubles.

damn that sucks to hear. I bought some 5100's off the guy and didn't have any problems. Hope he comes through. Seemed like a nice enough guy but this lack of effort on his part is really quite a bummer.

First of all I told you before you came over that a couple parts weren't coming loose. Second of all I was on vacation, I told you that before you bought the bags. Third, is this all really necessary? A phone call would have done. I have tried multiple times to get them of but the bolt just spins when you try to get it loose. I will try and get the hanger supports of in the next hour or two and I let you know what happens by tonight. If you want your money back let me know, I will drive to you. Sorry for the inconvenience.

"but the bolt just spins when you try to get it loose."

that is why a bolt has two ends, add a liberal amount of PB Blaster for a couple of days before removal, then you put a wrench on one end, and either a wrench or big ass breaker bar with proper socket on the other end, then grunt....

I promise you, there are hundreds of members here that could take off those brackets in short order...

    next...
