Finally got my neighbors truck out. Thanks to my buddy with his Jeep and 150' snatch rope.

 

now slap him on the wrist and tell him not to get stuck like that again bahahahah

 

I think, maybe, just maybe, he might have learned this time. Only time will tell though.

He's lucky no one vandalized his truck.





First day of doing something with my truck in a while. Took all the skids off, changed the oil in the rear diff, transfer case, front diff, and reg motor oil, and rotated the tires. It literally took all day.

 

Theres no way anyone would have found that truck. He was WAY out there in the woods.

 

Got it all wired up!

Used pre made boat battery cables from west marine



Installed my Duallys

you have any relays in there? I am about to start looking up setups for my 20 led bar, front pods and rear pods and need to figure out what setup to get.

 

I'll be going to SC to pick up a front bumper, rear bumper and maybe a mid skid that Eddy @ SOS Offroad Concepts will be making in the next 1-1.5 months. If anyone wants to place an order or has placed an order and wants me to pick it up let me know. I know shipping can get pretty expensive. I think I'll be scooping a hybrid for another member too.

If he has my bumper mount gussets made will you grab them for me? They are small.

I might have missed it but why not winch him out.?

 

He was out of winch reach and that washout would have put my truck in jeopardy trying to go down and get him. The Jeep brought that 150' rope and was able to pull him without a problem from the firm ground. If I had that length of rope, I could have pulled him.

 

No relays, the duallys came with a harness that didn't have one. I think they don't draw enough to warrant a relay but I think that a bar draws enough that a relay is necessary because you don't want to be running that much power through the cab.
