Is there a write up anywhere for this type of swap?

Straight forward, same as changing the stock rotors and calipers. Remove wheels, remove 2 bolts holding caliper to knuckle, remove caliper, disconnect brake line, remove rotor. Repeat in reverse with new stuff, bleed brakes. Reinstall wheel. Pretty much the gist of it.

Pretty much a straight swap. Only thing that you need to worry about is the banjo bolt, but if you upgrade to ss lines from wheelers they come with one that works

I like that. The real only place you would save is if you can get a set of calipers from a junk yard. Most calipers I see on ebay are over $200. And they will likely need to be rebuilt. I would want to know if these are OEM tundra calipers or aftermarket tundra calipers though.

EDIT - Based on reviews they use the smaller Tundra calipers. Do not want.

Rebuild kits from Toyota are about $20.

I got my calipers from some guy who had a tundra but kept the old calipers for $75. Add in brembo blanks and ceramic pads and you're at about half the cost of the lce kit and all you need is the brake lines....

I'm looking into it but honestly this truck ain't going off-road lol so I'm not really worried about the flex that much

I got my calipers from a guy on here, got the rebuild kit from Toyota. So easy to do. Start checking your local pick-n-pull and get them cheap

Yeah probably good with the around of cutting if there is no rub, and spacers, unless the ride is too harsh. Even then you could pop in some Billy's and eibachs for a good price.

Reason? Wouldn't smaller caliper work better with 16" wheels?

Not much modifying needed. Just had to bend back the dust shield some since the TUNDRA rotors are thicker. Pretty straight forward swap

Here is my write-up from when I did it. Includes a price list for what I paid, all OEM parts.

    http://stouffer.me/M3/tacoma-big-brake-mod-tundra-brakes/

You don't have to do new brake lines, but you will need to bore out the brake line hole for more hydrolic fluid flow. The factor rubber brake lines have so many miles on them, I would spend the extra and replace them anyways. Also if you have a lift or ever plan one, you will want longer brake lines, just do it now.

The 13WL fit on many 16" wheels as well. If I'm going to spend the money on a big caliper upgrade I want the biggest I can fit.

Problem is the we is easier to find for cheap since they were all replaced. And around me any Toyota truck is a bitch to find in a junk yard, so I pretty much had to get something I could find online.

I'm not knocking your setup at all man, I am just saying for when I plan on doing it I will prefer the WL. I'm sure the WE is still a good setup regardless.

Anybody replace the front output shaft seal on the transfer case?
Mine has decided to open up and pour out the oil and there is this group run tomorrow...
Possible to replace it in a couple hours?
