I've got one dealer telling me the 2009 supercharger will work on the 2010 tacos and another dealer telling me it won't... Whose right?

I've been seeing it advertised as the 09+ kit (the trd site is out of date and makes no mention of 09 that I found). I had been asking gadget from URD some SC questions, and he alluded to the 09 kit not being the 10 kit So I've asked him to clarify. This may be as simple as emission checks to update the sticker for states with emission standards or there may actually be some hardware or software issues. I will let you know what he says because I am planning to get one installed when I order my Taco (ie when dealers around here have em on the lots and don't insist on MSRP for em).

The hardware should be fine I think the only thing in question would be is if they changed any programming for the 2010 than they would have to do an update on the tune thats included with the blower kit

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
everything under the hood is the same from my 07 to my 09, so it has to be something in the ECU or other computer control

yeah i'm trying to get mine installed at the dealer for delivery with my 2010... they came back and told me that the TRD instake and SC wont work with the 2010s and i can just get the exhaust... called a couple different dealers and the 2010 SC isnt out yet. didnt give me a reason on why the 2010 is different than the 2009s but they all said the SC would prolly come out within 4-6 months. the wait begins...

^ yea and the cai wont fly with it because it isn't emissions safe for all 50 states.....they can mess with your warranty on that but i'm hearing that throwing on the trd cai on the blower adds a good 20hp :D

have to remember, there are two install kits. the TRD website only makes mention of the 08 install, but a number of online stores have two distinct kits, an 08 and an 09+. need to make sure the dealership is looking at the 09+ kit and not the 08. The 09+ should be the one that will work, but I am betting its not showing up for 10's because of the emissions.

    stupid emissions.

even i told them the 09+ will work... i'm not going to get a dealer to throw it on until its emissions ready/approved anyhow right?
