Dude they all try to run from the dog dunno why. But yeah audio sucks. The poor dog was getting so frustrated cause he couldn't get over the fence. The handler musta thrown him over or something...lol

I foul hooked him but he got loose before I got him to shore and he was only about 4 foot long

My bumper had an altercation with a boat trailer today. Not terrible damage but still makes me a lil sad. I have already talked to the owner of the trailer and he was apologetic about it. He didn't know it happened which is understandable seeing how his trailer was about 40 feet long

 

That sucks man, how did it happen? In traffic?

 

My car was parked in a grassy area where you can park trailers at my yacht club. His was too long to back directly in so he had to park perpendicular to me. When he turned to straighten out his trailer fender clipped me. (pic for visual)



Only way I figured out/ knew what hit me

 

sounds like an excuse to get a new plate or hybrid bumper to me…on his insurance dime

 

Haha that was my thought. He's calling his insurance Monday and see what they say. He said if its too much trouble to do through insurance he will just pay cash

 

$$$$ I wish someone would hit me every time I build a bumper lol

 

Haha I bet. Funny that you comment because I have been looking at your hybrid bumpers and if it does end up being a cash deal I may have to get a nice sturdy metal one to replace this plastic one. And looking at pics of your hybrid I don't think I would have been hit if I had one on

 

Waiting for first gen stuff. Even though it'd be awhile before I could buy anything

 

get one from SOS for sure. His stuff is great. wish I could have had some one smash me front and back ever so gently just to get those paid for haha

 

I am glad the damage is as minimal as it is. It could have just ripped the whole bumper off.

I was taking a boat out today and watched another guy straight up take a turn and side swipe either the trailer of another person or the vehicle while we were putting in. He just continued backing up to maneuver around it so I know he knew he hit it. Then just drove off. My jaw was on the floor as he zoomed right by me without even stopping to look what damage he caused. DICKHEAD

 

That sucks for that person. Where it happened today with me was sandy, so if it did slow the car down the owner probably thought he was just in the sand and just powered through. He was sincere on the phone so he's a good guy in my book
