Yes I have but I don't put up pictures, flowers or things on the road side or "in memory of" on my truck.
    Just don't get it.

Fair enough. I think for the vast majority, it gives them something to commemorate or hold on to. I tend to subscribe to the same school of thought as you, just thought I'd ask.

I always thought it was more of an attention getter than anything else. You didn't buy your ford taurus or honda odyssey, or build your truck 5 years before they died in their honor. It's just a "hey look at me, i know someone who died". Really want to do something in their honor donate money to a charity or volunteer. But I usually don't say anything because people are so emotional.

Just got into this thread....seems highly entertaining.

Probably already mentioned but I will fire it up again anyhow

-tinted tails, more so when its a piss poor job
    - stickers all over and no sponsorship or affiliation
    - those dam devil horn badges (sorry if ya gottem)
    - dirty trucks ( not washed after wheeling )

    Good enough for now

Nothing is worse then when someone turns a H2 Hummer into a car by adding 22's, with low profile tires that will crumble the minute they touch dirt.

I guess hanging ball sacks may be a little worse. I've been laughing at these jokers for the last 20+ years.

Nope! Now avert your eyes to the sig.... :drevil:

    26 MPG and counting. Problem?

Ouch! Just a piece of memory out of respect for a person they miss. We each handle death differently.
I find myself putting an accidental, unnecessary German twist on words occasionally since my full-German grandmother passed. I also try not to wipe my hands on my pants after food- she always asked me not to, and I didn't listen.
    JeeComa!!

    My definition of tacky/lame mods

    chrome accessories in general
    the small westin bull bars
any kind of large pictorial graphics
Any side steps/nerf bars Except OEM/NFAB/Smittybilt
    LED/Altezza tail lights
    LED light bars
    LED under-tailgate light bars
any aftermarket/heavy duty/off road front/rear bumper except for ARB
    any aftermarket wheels (especially KMC)
    any lift over 3 inches
any tire over 265/75/R16 diameter (or any tire/wheel combination over an approximately 32 inch diameter/10.5 width)
any wheel larger than 18 inches
Too much Plasti-derping everywhere; plasti-derp where plasti-derp should never go..
    HID lights
    any "colored" lights/Halos
the lack of doors (rare but have seen it)
    removal of all mud guards
    too many added running lights
    non OEM roof racks
giant shackles, especially on the tow hitch (worse than truck nuts IMO)
    Dodge Cummins look-a-like Tow Mirrors
    OEM Bug Guard
    wheel spacers
    body lifts
    anything mossy oak/camo related

im knowingly picky lol, and admittedly my truck is nowhere near perfect, but no offense here, to each their own.

I don't think they will change it until sales drop... We held the top spot for 10 years. Now that DODGE is getting 28 EPA... I have high expectations for the Tacoma.

what dodge is getting that? a single cab V6 2wd? Toyota didn't change anything because they didn't have to. Toyota's stance was why spend money on R&D when they didn't have to. If they did, they would have already been ahead of the game. Our trucks could get 30 mpg regardless of 2wd or 4wd, with the proper technology and implementation...
