When he resurfaces, I wonder what the excuse will be?

I've heard a ton of them, and they're all different ones.

Ordering limiting straps soon because of the the problems I had 2 weeks ago at the KC Hilites Midnight Special. My tire dragged me to a stop in about 20ft at 40mph.
My Desert Products UCA hit the Maxtrac spindle when I was driving at 40mph after going trough a dip that resulted in snapping the bolt. Partially because I had my shocks at 250 psi as the King employee suggested
Found this also earlier this week.

your shocks being at 250 psi had nothing to do with that. You bottomed out hard and that was the weak point.

Ya that's what people have been saying. Whats happening is the UCA actually touches the Maxtrac spindle when it goes down at full droop.

Bought a used Rusty Bumper from a guy who didn't want it anymore. Got it for $100! :) With a little tlc It looks pretty damn good and is simple.
Grinded and sanded all the rust off and prepped for paint. It was rusting pretty bad on the bends on the corners for some reason. Once prepped with automotive primer I sprayed 3 coats of bed liner.

Original owner didn't have the ends of the bumper capped so it was rusting on the inside. I cleaned it out with a liquid rust remover and welded a piece of steel to cap it. (Later I had to cut it off cause it was too long  Oh well
    [IMG]
With removing my trailer hitch and bumper I gained a lot of ground clearance which I needed without any performance rear shocks in the back.

Definitely Lost weight! The back end was higher after I installed the new bumper. The removal of my bumper, stock spare tire, and the tow hitch(heavy) took a lot of weight off.

Ya the stock spare is staying off. I have a 315 tire on a Nfab tire carrier in my bed so their is no need for the stock spare.
