hmm, no. 95-04 used bulbs, 05+ uses the tiny LEDs. you could check out some of the LED strips at oznium and retro those in the back of your cluster if you really want the LEDs, otherwise, your better off sticking w/ the bulbs as LEDs will give you hot spots if you try to simply use an LED replacement bulb.

if you want to do this mod, you must first do the "sell the 04 for an 05+" mod...:D

shifter light is not a LED but a bulb with an orange cover, you can just put another color cover (will have to change bulb too as plastic will likely be melted on)

temp you can change the dial and the two buttons but you can't change the surrounding as it's orange solid plastic.

    clock is changeable yes

^ wont be able to do it unless you figure out a way to turn one LED on and the other off while you rev...sound complicated...but then again im an ME, not an EE.

but good luck, let us know how you plan on doing this...

you do not want to try this with no soldering experience I recommend you find an old electronic device and start unsoldering and resoldering components for practice, these leds are only 2x3 mm and are have two solder points on each.

i forgot how to solder i went to HTI in AZ and learned how to do all that soldering but haven't done it since 03, but it all came back to me. i practiced on a remote controll car. then it was super easy. i have pics in my profile. i used a 30wt soldering iron the thinnest solder i could fine, soldering wick and some house tweezers. easy. anyone can do it. but it will take some practice to get good soldering welds and not burn up the LED or the circuit board.

I wasn't really thinking of turning the other one off. I was thinking of just letting them blend together. I haven't looked at the inside of it yet so i don't know what it looks like. Thanks for the response.

I just completed mine. the problem with two color LEDs in the needle is you will just end up with purple needle. The light pipe for the needle covers both LEDs no matter what position it is in. If you need help hit me up I live up in roseville.
