How are these holding up over time OZ? Both guys local to me have me scared by saying they had to get overloads and I didn't buy them.

I'm going to add the d29xl OME AAL to mine but I have a constant 450lbs in the bed , but when I remove my tools ( approx 250lbs ) the rear rebounds to within 1/2" of my original install height which was before I added the commercial cap

So mine have held up pretty well after 4+ years

Cool, thanks. I'll skip the overload for now then and leave room on my u bolt threads to add later if need be. I'm only about 300# over stock bed weight.

    Great thread.

I checked the measurements on my stock TRD OR AC for the first time this morning. With just over 2,000 miles, they are:

    Rear: 21 3/4 (driver) 22 (passenger)
    Front: 20 (driver) 20 1/4 (passenger)

If things go as planned, I'm hoping to edit this post sometime in the spring or summer of 2015 with measurements 2.5 or 3 inches greater all around. I've decided to purchase the OME suspension kit (885/90000 w/ Dakar leaf pack and rear shocks) with the spacer.

One thing that does concern me, however, is the quarter-inch lean on just 2,000 miles. Is that normal?

    Thanks for the thread Oz.

    Taco lean , normal

I had been assuming the lean was attributable to the driver's weight over time. I'm really glad you guys set me straight because I would've considered a compensatory spacer taller than a quarter inch, in anticipation of a worsening lean over time.

    Thanks.

2013 DCSB - long overload removed. 23 1/2" both sides. Both leaf packs were (+). Seems to have got rid of taco lean. No shim or trim packer on front coil.

Waiting for my Dakars to be delivered and planning on removing the 3rd leaf for less lift. So is it the 3rd leaf from the top or 3rd from the bottom including the overloads?

Any sag after time? I have them on order but i am 2nd guessing myself due to the recent recall notification i received. Currently running 884's in the front with a 1.5 aal in the rear just measured and hub to fender is 22.5" all around. I run a topper and body armor rear bummper also going to add a gas tank skid.

I can go pick them up today or i need to cancel the order so really hoping for some feedback so i can commit and get this out of my head

What does buying Dakars have to do with the recall on the shitty stock springs ?
