Cool go for 30.. I tried texting brooks, but he didn't answer yet. I guess the most important thing is to try and get something.. There can fit 10 on a permit, so there should be room even if "technically" a part of a family is at another site.. but sleeping together at another site.

Most important is to get some sites, and figure it out later..

So.. post um up.. what did everyone get? The brooks can edit the first post with the camp sites and numbers available.. Or I just start a new thread for the actual trip like we did for the p-flats one.. 10 campers available on each site (with 3 cars).

    Neil - 35
    Keun - 34
    Brooks - 24
    Ratha - 32

    Rick.. did you get in??

Don't worry about it. There's still plenty of room for you and daughter to camp. Just let us know for sure so we can get an accurate head count.

    I'm a max 8 on my site.. maybe 7..

Keun is just confirming with one of his friends but should have at least 5 more spaces at his site. (He will actually be at my site, but got his site anyway).

I haven't been down to the camping area for a LONG time. Not sure how much space 3 vehicles and 3 tents can fit. Maybe a drive down to the windward side Is in order just to get an idea of the size of each site.

2 different potlucks may be good.. Saturday lunch with whoever on TW that can make it out.. Miles, Nate, Ivan, everyone else.. then maybe the Friday night will all the campers.. cooking may be an interesting undertaking. Site says no propane grills.. what about propane burners????? Same or different. How do people usually cook dkwn there??

let me know when you want to go. I'm down. 35 has always been my favorite spot and can accommodate quite a few tents. And, to the left is a hill that allows for plenty of parking. I'm sure we'll be able to fit more cars than 3. I see way more cars parket than the allowed 3 when I go.

I think I might have seen cooking spots there but don't think anyone uses them. So they may not have the grills and are charcoal only. Plenty of people load up their standing propane grills but that's too much work for me. An I like me some fire anyways. I'll be smoking some meat while we're there. So, I'll bring a charcoal webber and my charcoal smoker. If I get a chance I'll drive through today to check it out.

So we have Miles +2 and how many for you Rick? Or are you gonna alternate, one on Friday, Saturday and Sunday? Just make sure you introduce us all so we aren't calling them the wrong names!!!

Ratha how many on your permit?

I think when they say no propane grills, I think they meant the big ones that you buy for your house. The kind need 2 people for load into the truck.:D
