I've got some bourbon if that sweetens the deal...

my only suggestion is to try and cover up where your rack goes in and out with the stock rubber boot things. Dirt and just about anything else gets stuck on there and eventually makes its way inside the rack.

this is how its set up on mine.

You are going to trap more dirt in there that way and cause more harm because it isn't sealed on one side. The clevis and bolt doesn't fit inside the stock boot. Chris is gonna put shock boots on them

An update on the disk brake conversion/ 9.5" LC axle swap-

The disks are 04- Tacoma fronts (mounted on the rear axle) and they are very closely matched to the 05+ fronts. I did have to use a wilwood proportioning valve, but it's almost fully open. It's about 4 turns out from full open, and it has about 20 turns of range. Front and rear lock at the same time on gravel.

Very nice! Wish I had kept my stock Tacoma brakes when I did the Tundra upgrade, would have been nice to save some $$ if I went the same route as you. just wish you could setup the LC as a full float :(

GReat Conversion! keeps all parts toyota. Did you cut your own caliper mount and is it welded to right to the axle tube? pics of that part?

It is full floater. I could have even put Warn hubs on it if I wanted to, but I never flat tow it so it would introduce a weak point. The axle flange is held in with ARP studs, which addresses the issue of shearing flange bolts. It also has axle seals in the inner part of the tube near the diff, so no oil puking out the ends of the tubes.

As far as the caliper mounts, they are not welded to the housing itself. They are machined into the bearing housing.

I got it from Diamond axle. It's a small company, but the dude built exactly what I wanted. His website sucks, but he builds some awesome axles at a reasonable price. http://www.diamondaxle.com/rear_nonsteering.htm

The inner part is pulling out of the diff? Or outer. Cause the outer has a nut and safe pin.

Inner has a clip on the end of the shaft
