fog light bulb/wire removal

So i need to no how to remove the bulb or how much wire i should cut and leave on them. Im trying to sell stock bumper with my lights. I no all the trucks have the light harness in them but dont how much wire there is to play with, or if i should just leave 6" on it and have the buyer splice everything together with new wires? I also want to use stock switch/wires to wire in after market fog lights.

 

let the buyer source the connectors from kragen IMHO

 

So just cut the wires wherever is convenient?

 

I still dont see why u have to cut any wires

if u must leave them a pigtail, 6" is plenty

 

Well i need to get the bulbs off my truck and i see no other way then cutting. Its just two wires, i figured that would be easy for me to tape in and the buyer to re attach.

twist them after disconnecting the harness

I think what Justus is trying to say is whomever is buying your stock bumper should have the wiring already on their truck ready to plug into your fog lights, so you shouldn't need to cut yours, just disconnect. If they don't, just clip your wires 6" should be plenty.
