Cut a tree down for the neighbor the other day. No issues then. Wednesday. Thursday woke up, did my thing. Friday halfway through the day, bent over to get the mail. Couldn't stand straight. Took all the oxy & hydro & ibprofrin I had left in the house. Couldn't sleep all night. Pain was so bad it felt like I was going to vomit. Took 5 shots of moonshine 4am. Feel asleep. Today same thing, can't move. Off to the urgent care.

Doc says here's a weeks worth of hydro, if you still are hurting get an xray. And see me in 10 days.

I got 7.5mg hydro from him...

I asked if that was enough. I had been taking the 10mg hydro's I had and the 30mg oxys. Even showed him my bottles with my old script on it. Shrugged his shoulders and said 10 days!

Sorry to hear you are in pain. There is so much abuse of pain killers I think the Drs are afraid to give it out. But if you need medical Marijuana, no problem!

    How messed up is this?

I'm moving my shop today so I rented a big uhaul trailer. I have it for 6 hours : 11am - 5pm. Well I needed to meet a guy in a town 20 miles out of my way at 4pm to buy a car. So I hurry up to take the most important stuff with the trailer and get a load moved, then return the trailer by 3:00. I head to the guy's house and as soon as I get there the car is leaving the driveway on a test drive. I wait. The driver guy gets back and buys the car. So then the seller comes over and gives me $20 for driving to him.

I'm pissed off considering I could have used those 2 hours to get a final load with the trailer, but now I have to make multiple loads without it. And I wasted 2 hours of my buddy and I's life on this fool.

Try to un-think the pain. It's amazing what control the mind has over the body. I get cavities like crazy, but never get novocaine. Every time the dr has tried to give me pain killers I refuse. (2) Broken ankles no thanks. Blown out disc...nope. I tried to refuse Novocaine for my last root canal and the Dr said he wouldn;t do the surgery without it. Thats the last time I had a pain killer. My moms the same way. She exploded her L12 vertebra and had to have 5 fused together last summer and once she was out of the hospital she never took anything. No one in my family takes drugs.... well besides recreational ones.

Has nothing to do with being tough or pain thresholds although if someone was ultra sensitive I could understand taking them... I think it's mind over matter. My body feels like shit most days, but not enough to give in to drugs. Only thing in my medicine cabinet is for hangovers

I feel your pain, as I have chronic back problem. But DAFUQ do you need all those meds for? Man up and pop a couple Advil and call it a day. I have had to use a cane, because it eases the pain of trying to constantly right yourself.

Sucks for you. Sorry I don't have grand solutions. No pot sources, no great mind over matter solutions. No super secret spots for a pin prick. I use bourbon. If that doesn't work I try more. No pain in da'coma.

I understand that but who tells multiple people to meet them at the same time after on the phone I told him I was bringing cash to buy it and consider it sold..? At least wait until the first guy passes to tell the next guy to come buy it. It was the complete waste of 2 quality hours I could have used that grinds my gears.

Spasms? Those are a bitch. Take your breath away.

When I was younger around 14 or 15 I'd get "put me down" spasms while playing hockey. I couldn't move. I'd breathe through it and play some more fucking hockey.

Maybe you pinched a nerve or something.
