    That's a lot of damn fat! I shoot to stay under 70g of fat and at least 1g of protein per lb of bodyweight

    Up the calories. Not gaining weight means you're not eating enough. I'd take out enough fat to put you at around 70g per day and add more protein

    My total count for calories yesterday was 4500. I didn't work out, so I didn't drink my protien.

    You're probably not gaining any muscle because your protein is too low. 4500 calories is sufficient for most people to grow, but you're not going to gain muscle eating 4500 calories of mayonnaise. I drink a protein shake everyday, no matter if I work out or not. I know a lot of people have low and high carb days, depending on what days they workout, but I eat the same 6 meals every day, no matter what. In my opinion, you shouldn't cycle protein. Max protein everyday is gonna help you grow. I would never skip an opportunity to get some protein; that's like saying, "I didn't workout today, so I'm not going to eat this steak."

    Exactly. Protein = muscle growth. Muscles don't grow in the gym; they grow when they're resting and repairing what was broken down during a workout. The day after a workout is an essential time to get protein in your body because that's when the muscles are repairing themselves. It doesn't matter if it's from a shake, steak, turkey, tuna, etc. Protein is protein. Just make sure you get a lot of it

    I know it's stupid, but when you're an ecto (as we are) it actually does come down to monitoring what you eat somewhat... and eating a lot of it! The basic building blocks of protein and fats need to be met, fill the calorie gaps with carbs.

    You're also 17....most boys at 17 can eat all fucking day long and not put on an ounce. I was pretty much 150-155 lbs from 15-20 years old. My weight hasn't come until after 25
