Ya I'm shocked they didn't explode especially with all the shale and roots and nails from dickbag pallet burners, that and it looked stupid with sliders and stock tires lol

Anybody have issues with their truck running a little rough or almost a "missing" feeling when driving with the A/C on? I just want to make sure it is just because it is gutless and not because there is something wrong :) Truck has 405mi on it as of tonight. Did fill up with 92oct today just to see if that had anything to do with it, it did not, almost seems to be worse. My UG shows about a .50g/h worse usage with the A/C on blast. If I could get YotaDan or FNwheels to email me back I would have my lift and wheels on their way to me. Already got my Duratracs but, thinking of sending them back to get something with a tougher sidewall......

I rarely use the AC, but when I do, I can't say I've noticed a loss of power or a rough idle.

Also, what lift are you getting?

Going back and forth between stage 3 Icon or 885s with a 1/4" on drivers, wheelers AAL and Billies on all four. We spend a lot of time in the mountains on the weekend driving the forest service roads so I want to smooth out the washboard and occasional pot hole. High 80s with high humidity isn't doing my wardrobe any favors :)

I can feel my a/c pump engage, it only last a second. No noticeable effect on performance.

Double check that setup man. I am not entirely sure that the 885s will work with our light 4cyl. I believe it is designed for the v6

again I could be wrong but I remember seeing that somewhere..

Thanks for that info! I will double-check that with Wheeler's. Trying to do it right the first time.

885s are close to 650# springs. They will be stiff with stock body parts on. For reference, I have 650s and a steel bumper, winch, lights, skid plates, extra wire ........ And it's still a lil stiff. I don't know about the wheelers aal but the icon progressive aal pack is widely viewed as the go to aal pack if you don't want to step up to an All pro pack. 5100s are a great shock but not even in the same ballpark as icon, king, or Fox shocks.

OME 885 and 884 coils have the same spring rate of 590 pounds. The only difference is the 884 is 10mm (roughly 3/8 inch) shorter. (ref: http://cruiseroutfitters.com/tech_OME_coils.html)

That being said, I agree 884s are generally a better option for a 4 cyl. If you call Wheeler, they'll probably recommend the same with their AAL.

Thanks for the heads-up on the coil options Dangerdave! I ordered my stuff today.

    Bilstein 5100s on all four
Wheeler's AAL 3-leaf pack (should I delete the overload, not hauling or towing anything)
OME 884 with 1/4" spacer to delete TacoLean
Camburg UCAs (not sure if I am going to need these or not with the amount of lift)

Also ordered my 17x8.5" FN Five Stars in matte bronze to faux-match the Pyrite Mica and already have my 265/70/17 Duratracs, I don't plan on wheeling so I am hopeful the sidewalls are safe... :) Little stuff, got my tint on the front windows done today, WeatherTech digifits will be here tomorrow, already have my UG and URD short-shift installed the last week, just need to order my Marathon seat covers and I should be done with everything for a little while at least. Putco LEDs should be here tomorrow as well. Truck just broke 600mi today!

You won't need the ucas unless you go to a 3" lift but you will want them either way. Camburg ucas have added caster which you need when lifting the truck. Get the ball joint ones because you won't need the added strength or travel. You don't need unbialls unless you want to be "baller" and spend the $700.
