unless the cap goes up a lot, they will only have under 15 mil to sign 8 players next year including Galchenyuk and Gallahger who may take about 9-10 mil between them. Great job MTL!

Trade Cole away Montreal got the extra pick, trade for pa parenteau Montreal got the extra pick, the guy is almost a genius at his current rate

Now if Price stays healthy they stand a chance again at going to the playoffs, he could in theory win 4 series yet to be proven but I think it's doable

Is it next year probably not, Gallahger and Galchenyuk need to both fill some big shoes this year

 

Parenteau trade was hilarious, ill give him that. But They added a player like Vanek at 7 mil to give them a shot last year, you would think they need another player like that fulltime at least again. It was not long ago, about 68 games in the season when Habs fans were tweeting me it was a disaster, fire the coach, and trade everyone. Hopefully they build off that last year run
