The amount of subtle butthurt in this thread is hilarious.

In all fairness most mods aren't as tacky as those Lincoln and Cadillac trucks that were discontinued as soon as they were released.

by far the tackiest 'mod' is when people buy SR5's and put TRD off-road or TRD sport stickers on the sides of the bed. who are you fooling, lol!

    I hate the scrotums.
And the "My son/daughter/dog is a Harvard/Marine/Transvestite Mime", whatever stickers bug me some days as do the stick families...
I get it, you are proud at having bred.
But why tell me about it?

    Same with the roadside memorials.
"See kids. That dent on the tree is where your Mom's skull shattered. Let's all stand here and stare at it."
    What's the point?
Like visiting an empty hospital room week after week just cause Pop died in it.

I fail to see the attraction of camo. USMC vet here, and on active duty come the end of the duty day we couldn't shed the cammies quick enough.
I confess I get amused when I see the folks with all the woodcraft and survival skills of a brain damaged Pekinese all camo'd and patched out.

Free country though and my opinion stinks just as bad or worse than anyone other's.

I think it's meant as a visible warning to what happens when things go wrong on the road. We had a very serious accident here a year or so ago and an entire family was wiped out by someone who had a medical issue while at the wheel. There's a memorial there now and I think it helps to remind people to be careful while they drive. All it takes is a small mistake and you can easily kill someone while driving.

    #1 fuck you.
#2 I tend to react in a very similarly way as you; without feelings.
People (civilians) that have lost loved ones tend to react in quite a different way than ones who have served and seen friends/brothers die. Who are you to judge feelings through a god damned crooked sticker or cross? If that is the way they deal with it then so be it. Butthurt rant ended, thank you for your service.

Not sure it could remind me not to have a medical issue while I'm driving.

Not really a mod but I hate the cheap EBay looking LED headlights that all the manufacturers seem to be using these days. Only Audi can do it right.
