    Well I just finished trimming the front fenders. While it is what is necessary, I still don't like the look. :puke:

    I think I'm going to see if a local body shop can weld the clip holes closed and then have the fenders repainted. It's the hole that I can't stand. Not a fan of the fastener route either...:cool:

    You're right!

    That will happen but right now I'm focusing most of my time and money on building my Expo Trailer. SAS is in the works. Don't like the bolts. I will most likely go this route though initially.

    Have you seen how high the holes are? I'd be better off just taking the fenders off completely versus having a sliver of metal for a fender.

    Don't like scrub bars. Just not my thing.

    I think I can have the holes welded shut. I'm literally about a block from International Paint & Body. I'll probably have them do it.

    Still might end up being cheaper to find a set of silver replacement fenders from a junkyard then to get the work done to weld, smooth, bondo, sand and paint those holes away.

    The holes would drive me nuts to btw. Styling is subjective and what annoys each one of us is quite different though.

    You could also tape something silver to the inside until you get a real fix, to keep you from losing your mind.
