Exactly! Plus he reduced it down to a ridiculously small diameter for a sink with a garbage disposal. That's just asking for trouble

Wow... Do you know who the plumber was that did it? Might be worth a call to the BBB and I'd also love to know if that work was inspected by the town plumbing inspector.

No idea on inspection but I definitely know who the plumber is. His brother is an electrician and also did lots of messed up stupidity all over the house.

    I'd bet you're right.

Grandma hired him. She's not an old senile woman who just believes everything she's told, she used this plumber for their rental properties as well and didn't have nearly as many issues

Anyone out there familiar with the workings of a 3-way fridge? I have one in my camper that works on A/C, but won't get cold running on LP. It'll get cold on A/C in about an hour or so. I had it running on LP for 6 hours and it was barely cool with the thermostat at the coldest setting. Any ideas on what I can check? The flue is getting hot, it is burning LP, the fins inside the fridge are cool to touch but it's not getting cold enough to keep food.

Yeah, I know about that. They usually take a lot longer to get cold initially on LP and won't get as cold as with AC. I thought that the fridge uses the same system on A/C or LP, the difference is on A/C that it uses an electric heater vs. the flame so if it functions on A/C and the flue gets hot with LP, it should work. Operative word being 'should' I'm stumped.

New construction has to be inspected. Some towns have some really pathetic means of 'inspecting'. As shady of a mother fucker as that plumber was, there should have been a process for inspecting his shotty work and stopping it. That system has obviously failed miserably. BBB report and a nice phone call to the local building department would be where I'd start. This is exactly why I believe building permits aren't worth the money for the paper their printed on. If something as trivial as that is overlooked during the inspection, why bother?

Noelie, I think it was you who told me to use near boiling water to clean the Mosin. If so, I definitely owe you a beer! Cut my cleaning time by 70% easily.
