    Theres no difference between a super charger & a turbo...

    when its a Turbo Supercharger....:p

    I'm stumped on the beadlock thing tho'.....

    Is the noise in the transfer case? Actuator might be sticky from low use, did you try rolling forward just a hair while it was making noise? It might be trying to engage but not perfectly lined up and the low use/stickiness is making it harder to engage when not lined up perfect.

    I went and had a blast. The truck is quick and no issues whatsoever. I just want a fully built caged truck so that I can drive faster safely.

    It makes noise like it wants to engage and I tried diff ears, forward and backward.

    I tried engaging at 65 mph and it flashed on the dash and yelled at me.

    But it won't actually engage.

    Going to have Jason look at it when he's free, maybe it just needs cleaned.

    Wow wow wow you tried engaging 4x4 at 65mph? That's kinda a no no unless you want to replace a tcase tranny and possibly drive shafts and front and rear diffs. Make sure your vacuum lines are hooked up and getting suction. (At least I think these actuators are ran off vacuum I've honestly not looked at my 13's actuator.)

    In multiple trucks I have exceeded 70 mph with 4x4 on and has not been a problem.

    My truck can engage up to 65 mph just fine.

    Also if it's too fast the compuyer is smart enough to beep at me and not engage.

    That's why I said it yelled at me.

    You can drive at those speeds in high 4 yes. But engaging at those speeds is definitely not a good idea.

    It does not engage at all right now and it was a test to see if I got the high speed warning and I did.

    My 4wd stick shift goes Into 4H N and 4L just fine it's the dumb button that's not working with the actuator

    Why are we so brutal on these fine (but expensive) trucks?

    Why do you need 4WD at 65 mph, but didn't need it at 55 mph?

    Engaging it while stopped or moving slow (when you find that you are in low traction and 4WD is needed to keep moving) is easy... But, once you are at freeway speeds, did you think 4WD would make you go faster? Sorry, I just don't get it...

    Here's what my 2010 Tacoma 4WD card says: Keep speed below 60 mph (when engaging into 4WD)...

    Never have and never will engage faster than 20 mph however currently it does not work, it was to test the electronics not to actually shift into 4wd.

    I think that point may have been missed.

    Ya know, ironically my manual says you can "shift on the fly" into 4x up to 60-65mph Which of course I'd never do, I have pulled the lever into 4H at about 35-40 mph with no issue before tho'...just never make a habit of it...

    I had a jeep Cherokee that was shift on the fly. Slid off the road in the snow and into a field. I was so scared to stop I grabbed a handful of 4wd and nailed it. Worst sound I ever heard. But not stuck.
