Hey guys, newish TW member here. Just traded in my FJ for a 2009 DCSB last month. I live in Nampa, ID. Work for Verizon Wireless here locally. Down to meet some folks for a beer or to go hit the trails for the day.

 

Had a mini meet at zachs place yesterday installed an ome lift on his truck ate some food and did some plinking.

Well boys I know I haven't posted in ALONG time mainly because im finishing up school but.... Put the truck up for sale the other day

 

I'm jelly. Looks like he has some nice horse property

 

I was just in McCall last night, perfect evening, watched an outdoor concert, and at night there was lightning strikes all around us but we never got rained on or even had the wind blow

Hows it going! I'm in meridian/boise and actually work in Caldwell haha (unortunate location)

We have a couple local guys and we have runs and get togethers every now and then. Let me know what your schedule usually looks likes and we can set some stuff up!

My best friends family has a house out in te country with a pasture and some horses lol

Ya I picked up a 2002 dodge 2500 Cummins, it was killing me not having a 5 speed and have been wanting a diesel for along time to pull my fishing boat and such.

Hahah I am still in the land of Tacoma buddy, I got my dads old 96 running so I pretty much inherited that bad boy. Im working on getting my career going and then I will have build coming with another Tacoma soon enough

 

nice im swapping my 2000 cummins to a 5 speed with dual disc clutch this fall after I get my sas on my taco done.

 

Badass man, Ya its a 02 5 speed quad cab short bed with a Bradford built flatbed. Got a 600 hp Valair clutch with a quadzilla adrenaline programmer. Been spending all damn day putting in a new FASS 150. I can honestly say ive put more work into this truck in the last month than I have in the taco over the last 4 years.

 

Yeah my taco has way more love and work than my cummins will ever get. though I want a good 400 horse out of it. well see though my next step on it is get the clutch and 5 speed put in it then injectors and a turbo. should set it up nicely to pull this around.

 

That's gonna be one hell of a badass setup tow rig and all! That will ultimately be my goal in the next 5 years now that I have my tow pig.

10 acres a little north of Spokane (Deer Park). Wife & I have 2 horses, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 goats. Our goats are 11 weeks, and I took them into the pasture with the horses. I decided the horses were getting too antsy so I went to get their alters to take them out, and by the time I got back, our mare had cornered the goats and kicked one of the three into the fence and broke a board. He later died while I was at the vet carrying him. I had a bad day yesterday. One of the 2 goats left has a leg injury and is definitely stiff in the back end. Vet said it wasn't broken, gave him a shot for pain and sent us home. I still haven't gone to see the horses yet since then.

I did put the invite out, but I guess I missed this particular thread. Also, aren't you down by Boise? That is a solid 6-7 hour drive one way. It's about 2.5 hours from here to Lewiston.

Charles (cykososhull), Jon (oldblue1968chevy), and I were playing with my truck when the storm hit up here on Saturday. This storm topped another tree for me which took out fencing between me and the neighbor I like. Got that cleaned up yesterday so I could bury my goat in the area the tree fell. Had a brown out Saturday morning, then power was back, then the storm hit and dropped power. Once we were about done, power was back on for about 5-10 minutes, then went out again. Got power back Sunday night right after I got a generator hooked up to my panel for temp power. I have determined I need to get a good generator (7500-10000 watt) for my place so I don't lose water. I'm on a well, and the pump takes 240V so small generators are worthless in a sense.

 

I'm sorry, it really sucks when that stuff happens. I'd be devastated.
