New tires and Slip Indicator light

Just bought a 2014 2wd Tacoma and new to the forum. Looks like a lot of savvy tacoma owners here. I'm not, so have a question. I didn't like the stock steel rims so wanted alloy ones. Wanted bigger also as 15's just look too small. So had 16"x7" rims and tires installed. Tire store wanted to recheck torque on lug nuts after 25 miles. After they did that I noticed the Slip Indicator light was on and it won't go off. They said nothing they did would make the light come on. I can't see a reason for it either. Bringing it to dealer to see if they can figure it out. Just wanted to know if anyone here knows if new tire size or something the tire store did could have caused the light to come on.

 

With 4x4 models, there have been cases where a 3" lift causes the VSC light to come on. Haven't heard it happen with the 5-lug models. What size are your new tires? They are the same size at all four corners, right?

It is also rare, but possible, for the installer to accidentally bump a wheel speed sensor cable when putting on the new wheels. Are the other lights like ABS also coming on?

New tires are 235/70R16S. No other lights on but because of the timing of the light coming on it could be possible installer did hit something. Just don't see that happening by tightening lug nuts but..?? Is the Slip Indicator light related to the VSC light?

 

I think we are referring to the same light.

If ABS light isn't on, it in fact may not be a damaged wheel sensor cable.
