Valuables in plain sight? I wouldn't break into a truck unless I saw something to make it worthwhile.

The only thing I left in site in my truck was a bracelet made out of paracord and a pen.

This. I think we were inside for about an hour or so. After that we all seemed to move outside because bingo took over.

damn sorry to hear that. Before anybodt gets any ideas...it wasnt me. I know in situations like this its easy to blame the hispanics but 1.) I was probably already home when it happened. 2.) I was with a white guy and he would not allow me to even think about doing such thing.

I really wish we had seen it happen, I think we would all put the beat down on that person. TACOMA OWNERS UNITE! Glad he didnt break into my truck. I went to the range that day and left my bag in the truck!

Would the cops come down harder on you for leaving a weapon in the vehicle? Or would they come down harder on the guys that would have taken the weapon? Wouldn't it be a felony offense if they did take it?

Don't worry. Dennis is just being Dennis. Aka, still riding the drunk/sleep deprivation wave.

Lol, I'm pretty sure it wasn't anyone on here, that would be pretty stupid. Just some thugs that saw a bunch of trucks and decided to do a smash and grab

Gotcha. I know there's a bunch of laws out there for gun ownership you have to abide by. And since I don't carry in my truck, I wasn't sure.
