Ok thanks a bunch. I asked the guy at the shop that and he said new UCAs wouldn't change it much because Toyota "does it a bit differently." Said something about changing the LCA lol. I just nodded and said yes so I could get outta there.

Any recommendations on UCAs? Light racing? My brother had total chaos ones on his first gen. I tried swapping them off when he was selling it but he caught me as I was taking the tires off

id get a uniball one personally. Light racing is a ball joint still.

have tons of options now. Allpro, Camburg, Icon, TC and few others i think.

Last tank averaged 13mpg. I gotta do o2 sensors. Does the rear o2 sensor have a gasket? The ones I bought only came with one. Also, do I need to unplug the battery to reset the electronics?

I don't have a CEL. Im just running out of ideas as to why my mpg is so poor.

Plus Light Racing were the ones that broke all the time. I can't remember if they supposedly fixed the design problems but I'm still weary of them.

I thought that was them too. I'll stay away from them. Probably end up with Camburgs eventually.

That is a good choice. You get what you pay for.... Better then being broken down on a trail.

Finished up my first fab project this past weekend. Nothing great but it works for what I want. I learned a lot about welding from this project. I plan on upgrading to a better welder in the future so I can weld with a bit more confidence . The shit Harbor Freight welder isn't terrible. It works good for small projects like this. I think I'm gonna add some more cross bars then grind it down and paint it.

They are a bit more expensive but I highly recommend the Icons because of the uniball covers:
