    hey guys,

ive been looking around at bolt on sliders, i dont do any offroading, i just want some protection from door dings etc. and as use for a step.
i really like the kickout models, im in canada and im looking to order either here or from usa. i looked at a lot of places but it seems most with kickouts are for short boxes only, i have an 07 dclb. anyone have suggestions as to where to look further?

    Check out Avid Offroad's offerings.

I have their bolt-on's, and I'm quite happy with them.

I would go with BAMF..they bold to the frame and you can wheel with them if you ever want to.

Avid bolt ons bolt to the cab and are more for looks than function. I ordered Avids not thinking but had them converted to weld on by a local TW member.

A TRD OR built into a Baja/PRO hybrid
SOS Concepts also makes bolt-on, no drilling required.

OP, pretty much all vendors offer a bolt on option with a kickout for a DCLB now. Visit the vendor section, browse and see what deals they have to offer. The avid bolt on option will protect you from dings and can be used as a step. Only problem is that they don't offer a kickout option. (At least I don't think so) If you really want the bolt on design with a kickout, it'll cost you close to double the price as you'll be paying for true sliders.

Just food for thought to maybe save you some cash for other things/mods. GL

I was talking about the ones that bolt on to the body vs the frame.

Hi, I have bolt on sliders from BAMF. I have the tread plates, kickouts, and zero-degree or flat angle. These keep the snow and mud off and are more like the old-school running boards than the angled rock sliders. I cannot count how many time I have climbed out and sidestepped down the length to the bed and avoided the mud, clay, and various puddles we have here in PA. No door-dings either, and the hi-lift works just fine.

Bamf bolt on ones here. I got then new from a member here. Love them, straight forward install, just a lot of drilling. Only complaint is surface rust on the factory coating after 6months.

I'm trying to decide between bolt-on and weld-on sliders. I wheel quite a bit and am looking for something that will stand up to some punishment and also serve as a jacking point for a hi-lift. Anyone have experience with All-pro APEX bolt-on sliders? About how much would it cost to get sliders welded on in a shop?
