It's like the opposite of Fight Club. First rule of Crossfit, tell everyone that you're doing crossfit.

 

I've been doing it less than 24hrs now and if I had a quarter every time someone told me that I'd have my first month's dues paid for.

 

If you're hearing it that often then I suppose if you had a nickle for every time you told someone you're doing Cross Fit you might have had your first month's dues paid for.

 

You feel better now? It actually goes back to the years I didn't do Crossfit and heard everyone hating on it.

Exactly. I'm amazed by how many people feel threatened by the fact that someone who works out. Sheesh.

Who's threatened? It was a joke - not everyone takes themselves as seriously as you do.

My wife does Cross Fit, and I pay the bill. I obviously don't have anything against it.

 

Keep after it baby steps. Light weight and cut the reps down till it comes naturally.

I'm yet to meet someone who can offend ost.

 

Ha! None of this is really an option which is kind of a good thing. You show up and say 'Hand me my ass for an hour please sir!' and that's what you do. Non-stop and relentless man. Pretty motivating it is.

 

Oh I know, I have 4 buddies who own gyms. I use to compete until I tore my tricep tendon. Being new they should not be allowing any hero work outs, rx'd weight/Reps, or Kipping pull ups. Those are all things that should come with time.
