I know it's innocent, but I can tell you any rescue/LEO (usually the senior crew) are the first to become dependent on alcohol/drugs...all the shit they deal with, and see that cannot be unseen...I think many take too much pride to ask for help...after all, they are usually the ones who help, and not ask for assistance....I know of at least one who will vent if something occurs and isn't afraid to listen to some calming words of advice and re-assurance...many cannot, and will not do that though, and become dependent on alcohol, anti depressants, etc etc. I will always have the utmost respect for those who serve our country on all public safety levels ...I know I couldn't do it daily...I take things to hard on myself, and would probably unleash on some dbag.

    ...sorry for the unorganized rant.

    Rant?

    Meh.

    3/10

Your thoughts were far too organized, cognitive and lacking of expletives to be taken seriously as a rant. Next time try a little bit harder with your rants by trying less harder to make sense. That's not bad for a beginner but I know you've got more in ya & look forward to your next attempt. ;)

That is funny right there Ost. I tried to find a suitable meme to include here but found this instead. It made me laugh too. :D

Oh I know.. Obviously I have just as much respect for our service men and women, especially paramedics and firefighters.
I would never disrespect one of them
Just a little poke in the eye.

LOL!! You're right, I could have been much more explicit, but I know Noah didn't mean any harm what so ever if it was a snide remark, there would have been a 'not so nice' reply and a nice long vaca from TW.

I would: Hoyal, you're an alcoholic. There, I said it. Now that it's out there what do we do with it? Oh man, that reminds me; at dinner tonight they had an ice cream shake that was Guinness, Jameson & chocolate ice cream. Now that I'm sitting at home talking about it I wish I had ordered one. :(

Ooh. I've had a beer shake before!
Got to admit I was scared. Thought it sounded nasty but it's actually really good!

It does sound nasty. Well, the Blue Moon one did. I mean who puts Blue Moon in an ice cream shake? Bleh! What, no Budweiser? Then I saw the Guinness one & even though I'm not much of a Guinness drinker it sounded like an ice cream shake Irish Car bomb. I can get down w/some Irish car bombs.
