Thanks for the heads up. I got them at Discount Tire. I had the road hazard warranty on them so they're replacing the trashed one for free. If I went to the firestone shop I wouldn't be able to use that warranty. Thanks though.

Oh nice. How do you think they did on ice/snow? I thought I read you had them siped, which is what I'll be doing. Basically I want a great offroad tire. If I can get away with it in the winter that would be awesome. But I have a set of studded winter tires anyway that I could swap out if the MTRs aren't cutting it.

No the 15's won't clear. That's what I have on the trailer are 15's but they don't fit the front end of the Taco.

They were ok in deep snow. Pretty poor on hardpack and ice until I had them siped. After I had them siped they were acceptable but not great.

The TPS requires replacement. The MAS needed cleaning. There's special MAS cleaner you can buy from the auto store. You HAVE to use that. Other chemicals will ruin it.

Like it said I remember it was one of those two things. Just can't remember which exactly.

Interesting. Compared to the KM2s in the winter? I've never actually seen a set of MTRs in person so I can't judge them by how soft the rubber is.

Not necessarily truck related but I did find a Dake arbor press at a garage sale for $30.

I went out and looked, no circuit board exposed but there is a cover over something, prolly a circuit board cover I would imagine.
    :D
I have no idea what it does, maybe the speed control for the blower motor if I had to guess.

They're about the same as KM2s in the winter. Both should be siped for sure.

    Nooooooo! :bananadead:

Wonder where it went. Seems like it's been missing for a while since it's dusty. And yet...I've never noticed it before and it's not the first time I stuck my head under there. Curses. Now to find one.

All painted. The color is really off, its like the metallic sharpie color. I am pretty sure they didn't send me lunar mist dupli color, just general toyota silver. I think even the white looked better...
