Hmm never heard of these before, that wrist thing is pretty sweet.
My question, is it better than a gopro honestly?

They're based in Canada and have a pretty good following with the action sports types. Frankly, what GoPro has for them is a HUGE marketing budget.

Honestly, I'd say it's a very comparable camera putting price aside. There are some features that the GoPro has that the WASPCam doesn't have, and vice versa. The GP does offer 4k, 2.7k and 1440p video, while the WASPCam offers a live screen display wrist remote and a much easier to use interface. The WASPcam in my opinion is a better value for the money given it's feature set if you're not using the ultra high resolution video (most youtube videos are anywhere from 720p-1080p).

If you already have GP accessories, there's an available adaptor for $6 that will allow you to use the WASPcam with them. I have the GP3 black edition, and use both.

It actually comes with editing software, but you can use any video editing software like iMovie or Windows Movie Maker...

My friend is taking his go pro 3 also. we will compare videos and see the differences.

 and I was going to spend 400 on a GP3+ black edition... This is pretty appealing... You can get extended battery packs for this one right? I know the GP NEEDS it otherwise you are crunched for time to film

Correct! There's a double capacity Li-ion battery available for $45.99 that also comes with deeper doors to accommodate the bigger battery...

Also, if you already have a GP, they make and sell an adaptor for $6

    Let me know!
