So I installed T/X Baja Suspension Kit on my 2011 Tacoma Prerunner. Got too much of a lift. Everything went smooth, but my before and after measurements are way off. I looked at some other peoples numbers and they are at different heights.

Just asked another person with the same setup, but his is 4x4. Floor up to fender center of wheel:

    Front passenger is 36 1/4"
    Front driver is 36 1/2"

Mine below. Floor up to fender center of wheel:

Front Driver Side Before: 34 3/4"
Front Driver Side After: 37 1/4"

Front Pass Side Before: 34 3/4"
Front Driver Side After: 37 1/4"

    Rear Driver Side Before: 36"
Rear Driver Side After: 36 3/8"

Rear Pass Side Before: 36 1/8"
Rear Driver Side After: 36 3/8"

Any ideas on what could be the problem? I don't want to go get an alignment , as I was just about too until I can figure out what the heck is wrong here.

    I got 2" from a 1.6" lift................

depending on cab configuration, 4x4 vs prerunner, manual vs auto, and other variables, the lifts are NOT exact........... they are approximate only.

get the alignment done and enjoy it :)

My lift settled after it sat overnight. You might want to let it settle before getting an alignment or you'll need another one.

If it settles i will come back. They have 6 month warranty. Hopefully it wont.

Im going to ask the tech for 2.4 to 2.5 deg of castor. Im waiting for the truck to go on the rack right now.

they should be scragged before and after shot peening, at least thats what I remember about eibach coils and I think OME does the same. But a lil settling should be expected

I bought the kit from another member on the forum here. It was used with not many miles.

Well I decided to hold off an alignment and get it done tomorrow, because the wait was too long.

I forgot to add that I also installed Firestone Ride Rite airbags and Daystar Cradles too and 3 leaf (no TSB).

I added 10 psi to the rears and after I got home from the alignment shop. I re-measured.

The front went down 1/8" of an inch on both sides and the rear is now a 1/4" higher after 10 psi. The front is 1/2" higher than the rear.

Will changing the airbag pressure later down the road after alignment negatively affect my front end alignment? Raising or lowering from what it was set at during the alignment.

It's possible to get it as a kit, P/N PTR13-35120, though I believe a Toyota dealer parts dept would require an active Baja VIN to order it. Googling the P/N returns a few sources where you can buy the kit or individual replacement parts, for example:

Forgot to say the airbag pressure, you might have thought I was referring to tire pressure. Will this affect the alignment if I lower or raise the rear, from what the airbags were set at during the alignment?
