Cleaning the Undercarriage..

Anybody do this? just curious..

 

If I ever need to, I take it to a carwash and powerwash the underside.

I've heard of others using a garden springer and putting it under there for 20 minutes or something.

Mine didn't look that good new!

I use a wire brush and a rattle can to spiff things up every time I rotate my tires.

 

I built a rig to back the truck up on. to power wash the underside.

 

I usually just use shampoo from when I washed my hair.

 

I see what you did thar.

 

It's pretty nuts how clever that was of me.

As for the original post. I usually spray mine off with the power washer, hit the rust spots (yes its a Toyota, 3,000 miles and I have rust) with a rattle can, then coat it with armorall/water mix.
